Yay, I'm back to blogging!

In fact, I've always have this thing about sharing stuff with you all but never managed to find enough time to do it. I guess I've arrived at just the right moment as this could be included in my 2013 Resolutions.

This time, I'd love to share something I read in an article some years ago (in 2009 to be exact). It was about an artist who creates art, having fashion pictures as starting point. She adds the picture different elements and has marvellous iconic pieces as a result.

Enjoy Susy Gómez's art. Personally, I find it hyper inspirational and brilliant.

I am so busy lately! Anyway, can't wait for tomorrow's MET Gala and all the outfits the celebs will be wearing! I still have in mind Doutzen Kroes' last year's magnificient Giambattista Valli red gown.

Aún así, no puedo esperar a la gala del MET de mañana y a ver todos los vestidazos que llevarán las celebs. Aún recuerdo el vestido rojo del año pasado que llevó Doutzen Kroes. Lo firmaba Giambattista Valli y era magnífico.

Gold jewelry

The May issue of Elle Vietnam taps photographer Zhang Jingna for a beauty story focused on gold jewelry. Styled by Phuong My, Maya wears shimmering metals and little else in the studio images. A nude lip by makeup artist Valerie Vonprisk and stick straight tresses by hair stylist Crazy Nhoc perfect the minimal approach. 

** La edición de Mayo de Elle Vietnam ha elegido al fotógrafo Zhang Jingna para captar una historia de amor y pasión por las joyas de oro. Habiendo sido Phuong My la estilista de estas imágenes de estudio, la modelo vietnamita lleva encima maravillosas piezas de metal resplandeciente.

Unos labios nude creados por la maquilladora Valerie Vonprisk y una maravillosa melena brillante por Crazy Nhoc son los perfectos complementos de esta apuesta minimal.

La Parisienne | How to get the efortless chic look

It is no new. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou Doillon, Audrey Tatou, Clemence Poesy, Emmanuele Alt or Carine Roitfeld are usually mentioned when talking about the perfect chic look. But how do they get I?

Inès de La Fressange, named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1998, seems to have the secret and has decided to share it with the rest of us, who seek the secret desperately, with the publication of her book La Parisienne.

The book has Nine D'Urso, Inès' daughter, as one of its main stars. She shows how iconic pieces, such a petite noire robe, a trench or boots, should be worn during the day. Inès herself has drawn some of the drawing that take up the pages.

In Inès' opinion, the five basics in a woman's wardrobe are: a pair of ballerinas, a pair of mocassins,  a pair of classic black pointed shoes and black/brown riding boots. In fact, Inès reveals a perfect parisienne would buy this all in a equestrian shop.There it goes!

In addition, parisiennes do not show interest for 'it bags', but are looking for the perfect 'mythe bag'. It is also more interesting a basket bag, rather than having any fake bag. In fact, this bag should be the same color of your shoes but only if you are less than 30!

As you probably have thought, the book is way too tempting for those of us who are always caring about the perfect look.

 

   

 **  No es nuevo. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou Doillon, Audrey Tatou, Clemence Poesy, Emmanuele Alt o Carine Roitfeld son las que se nos vienen a la cabeza cuando hablamos del perfecto look. Pero, ¿cómo lo consiguen estas parisinas? Inès de La Fressange, incluida en 'El paseo de la fama de las mejores vestidas' en 1998, parece tener el secreyo y ha decidido compartirlo, con las que lo buscamos desesperadamente, gracias a la publicación de su libro La Parisina. 

El libro tiene como protagonista recurrente a su hija, Nine D'Urso. Ella nos muestra cómo llevar piezas clave como el típico LBD, un trench o unas botas (ya sean las blancas de flecos de Isabel Marant o unas cualquieras). Además, es Inès la que ha dibujado las maravillosas ilustraciones que adornan las páginas.

En opinión de Inès, los básicos en el armario de una mujer son un par de bailarinas, un par de mocasines, otro de escarpines negros y unas botas de montar marrones o negras. De hecho, Inès revela que una perfecta parisina compraría estos objetos en una tienda ecuestre. Ahí queda eso.

Según ella, las parisinas no muestran interés por el IT bag, sino que prefieren un mythe bag (un clásico bolso que perdure). También es siempre más inspiradora una cesta de mimbre que un bolso falso. Además, el bolso debería ir en conjunto con nuestros zapatos, sí, pero ¡solamente si tenemos menos de 30 años!

Como podéis imaginaros, este libro parece ser muy muy apetecible para aquellas que buscamos el look perfecto.
