Since Chanel announced Alice Dellal was to be the new face of their Boy Chanel handbag collection a few months ago, we have only gotten to see videos about the model talking about her first Chanel bag and some previews.
A week ago, the campaign was revealed.
Personally, I believe Chanel's charm has been lost when chosing Alice Dellal as the face of the campaign. However, the set is gorgeous and so is the makeup and hair direction.
The bags are planned to represent and personify the androgynous character Mademoiselle Coco was known for.
Karl Lagerfeld himself explains how Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses by saying she had "this boyish attitude" which, in fact, is the very spirit of Chanel. She got this style from Boy Capel and that reveals why the new bag is called the Boy Chanel.
Red, ivory, black and white resume the palette of this Boy collection.

What do you think of this new collection?
